A Little Pearl of Wisdom….
Sometimes when we decorate or attempt a project without help it can seem really daunting and I am sure at some point you may get yourself rather confused and stressed trying to make your look stylish and cohesive.
But there is a trick to it all that can make the whole process seem a lot easier and get you over the finished line much quicker.
Start with one amazing inspiration piece that you love and the rest will follow.
Take this beautiful cushion that I have fallen in love with … and yes for those of you who are very observant this is one of the beautiful new cushions that are now in position at home on my own lounge.
But what is so perfect about this cushion is the range of colours and tones it has within it. Think of it as your muse and you could easily select paint colours for walls, flooring and rugs from it as well as upholstery fabric and colour. By picking neutral shades and solid colours for large pieces such as a lounge or sofa gives you flexibility in the future to change your look just by adding new cushions and a rug.
This cushion in question also allows you to add black as an elegant accent colour by having black framed family photos like below within the room to showcase your family and your own individual personality in a very classy way.
And the fact that this cushion also has a metallic sheen to it will add a touch of glamour and bling to the space and easily allow you to incorporate high shine surfaces to your look.
